Gold Star Trading Card Games

I recently visited the Gold Star Trading Card Games in Thornhill / North York and I have to say, it's my favourite Pokemon TCG store in the GTA. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a great selection of cards and other Pokemon merchandise. The store itself is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I've already been back a few times since my first visit and I'll definitely be returning in the future. If you're a fan of the Pokemon TCG, you owe it to yourself to check out this store.

As suggested by a pokemon another enthusiast for a trusted 3rd party grading company; i was not disappointed! If I could give more stars I would.As a local guide and a hardcore Pokémon collector I have to give it to Chris and gold star TCG. An absolute wonderland when it comes to Pokémon. From the sealed products to singles to graded cards, its just paradise. But what separates this place from others is the service you get when you come in. I was treated beyond amazing, and after coming back a second time I was again welcomed with the same contagious smile from Chris. All my questions were patiently and professionally answered and honestly I didn't even feel like I was treated as a customer, but rather, a friend. The ideas that is put into here is just like I remember and loved as a kid, a vending machine that dispenses mystery product (1$ a play) and actually winning multiple great products :). It is little things like that when owners put in effort for creative ideas that makes this place all the better. Location is a bit tedious as it is located on the second floor on world on Yonge, within the food court. Didn't know about this place until accidently stumbling across it, super happy I did and it will definitely be my go to Pokémon stop. Hidden Gem.Keep up the amazing and passionate work!!!

Some of the friendliest down to earth people I’ve met through collecting TCG throughout the years. Don’t look any further! This small rag tag shop of owners will give you the best personalized advice and shopping experience than any other store in the GTA. This shop is fair, good pricing and most of all reputable. Definitely stop by when you get the chance.

Great place to deal with. Answered all my annoying questions. I mailed in my cards to be graded and they kept me informed of the process along the way.When my graded cards came back from PSA I decided to drive down to the store and pick them up and drop off some new cards to be graded.No problems and very organized.Highly Recommended. First discovered this store while I was looking to get my Pokemon cards graded. I was intimidated at the whole process of grading, but the experience with Gold Star was seamless and super straight forward, all I had to do was get the cards to them and they did the rest. Since then Gold Star has been one of my go to stores for all things TCG especially Pokemon! Prices are fantastic, but the customer service is even better. Great experience, and wonderful staff!

First time doing grading ever and the process was a little intimidating and confusing. Christopher and Criss helped sort out all my questions whether it was on Facebook or in person. They have great pricing on Pokémon products and a huge selection of singles.Hoping to get my cards graded and back soon. Will 100% be coming again.Wishing you guys great success!

Been here 3 times now and it’s been such a wonderful experience, met criss through a Facebook sale and he’s genuinely been such a great person to talk with. Nice, helpful, friendly, and provides great answers and help to any of my questions. Even submitted a card to them to get graded today and it’s been a real pleasure.
